Dagg Brothers Constructions is a family-owned custom residential building company based in Northern New South Wales, founded by brothers Mat and Anthony Dagg.

We believe building a home should be a personal experience. That’s why we intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year, allowing us to remain directly involved from the very first conversation through to handover. When you build with us, you’re working directly with the owners of the business—not being passed between departments or project managers.

We design and build custom homes that reflect the lifestyle, vision and budget of every client. During our initial consultation, we'll discuss your vision, budget and expectations, then provide realistic pricing guidance before moving into detailed estimating and preparing a fixed-price building contract.

Absolutely. In fact, this is often the best time to involve us. By engaging us early, we can provide practical construction advice, budget guidance and design recommendations that can help avoid unnecessary costs and ensure the design aligns with your budget before plans are finalised.

Yes. We're happy to work alongside your existing architect or building designer, or if you're just starting your journey, we can recommend experienced designers we've built strong relationships with over many years. Our goal is to ensure your home is not only beautifully designed but also practical, buildable and represents excellent value.

We primarily build throughout Northern New South Wales, including the Tweed Coast, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cabarita Beach, Pottsville, Fingal Head, Byron Bay and the broader Northern Rivers region. If you're unsure whether your project falls within our service area, we'd be happy to discuss it.

Every project is different, and construction time depends on factors such as the size of the home, site conditions, architectural complexity and the level of finishes and inclusions. During the planning stage, we'll provide an estimated construction timeframe specific to your project, which will be included within your fixed-price building contract so you know exactly what to expect before construction begins.

After discussing your project, reviewing your site, understanding your design and establishing your desired level of inclusions, we're typically able to provide an indicative price estimate during our early consultations. This gives you confidence that your project is aligned with your budget before progressing further into the design and documentation process.

Once your plans have been finalized and your inclusion selections have been confirmed, we begin preparing your fixed-price building contract. Rather than relying on standard pricing, we tender the project to our trusted network of suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best balance of quality, value and accuracy. This process generally takes between four and six weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. This allows us to ensure your contract is comprehensive, transparent and accurate, an essential step before construction begins.
